And the Award for Most Anticipated Fighting Game of the Year Goes To...
There's a game coming out this year that everyone is excited about. It's the game that will save a struggling system and demonstrate its awesome online capabilities; it will showcase how a large and diverse cast from many different video game franchises can do battle to establish who is the greatest gaming mascot of all; and it has been in development for many years, showing the utter commitment and dedication of the development team involved. I speak, of course, of Street Fuckers.
Street Fuckers is a 'Projectile-based Fighting Game' (PFG) that features a large cast of characters from your favourite gaming franchises fighting it out across 30 different stages. The confirmed cast so far is:
- Blowjob Bob (from Balls-Deep)
- Jism Jeff (from Squeezy Does It)
- Shaka Zulu (from Zulu)
- Asslickin Andy (from Suction Force: Advance)
- Rimjob Rick (from Master & Slave: Dynamic Edition)
Other characters will be announced in due course.
One of the greatest features of the game is the ability to jump into any two player match at will with minimal loading. The game loads in the background during the character select roster, so that matches begin quickly and without lag - which is surprising as the game runs in 1080p at 60fps and has some of the best graphics on the system. Some of the battlefields that have been announced so far include The Rectal Rollercoaster (from Big Daddy Comes to Town), Rings Around Uranus (from Squeezy Does It) and The Salad Tosser (from Suction Force: Advance).
In my hands-on time with the game I played as Asslickin Andy - being a huge fan of Suction Force: Advance - and had a blast. I was able to win the tournament after a few attempts, although I am assured by the developers that I was playing in Easy Mode. I have barely whet my appetite with Street Fuckers and already I'm hungry for more - I have no doubt that when the game comes out later this year it'll be a system seller and then some.
