The Bill Trinen Fan Club is open to members of all ages to join!
Bill Trinen, also known as 'Brill Trinen', based on his brilliant work, is a translator at Nintendo. He was originally hired by Nintendo to translate debug reports on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64). Since then, he has worked on the localization of such big titles as Super Mario Galaxy (Wii).
Bill Trinen is most commonly known as the personal translator for Nintendo's gaming guru, Shigeru Miyamoto. His cheeky face can often be seen at Nintendo events standing with Mr Miyamoto, usually shaking a Pikmin toy or playfully squirting the gaming mastermind with a F.L.U.D.D machine.
Trinen has worked and lived in Japan for many years and knows the language like the back of his hand. He is also the King's adviser, working with Nintendo to better understand the scary Western world. He has a penchant for playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf and loves long walks on the beach, eating ice cream and deciphering riddles with notable academic Prof. Hershel Layton from the University of Azran.
He is also able to conjure up oranges from the ether with his alchemy skill.
Members of the Bill Trinen Fan Club meet monthly to discuss Bill Trinen - his motives, his aspirations and his inspirations. Members draw Bill Trinen fan-art, write Bill Trinen poetry and contemplate ways in which life has been improved by Bill Trinen.
The next Fan Club meeting will be taking place 5 December 2013 at the Nintendo Treehouse.
