1 and 2 are machinegun emplacements.

This place is a sieve; there are so many routes between the positions that establishing a hard lock is nigh impossible. Your aim should be simply to dig in and hold two. If one gets overrun, promptly rotate your team and hit their original position as hard as you can.

The superior team will spawn in the southeast corner of Overgrown. Four should flag rush Bravo - this will be the first contested flag. Two should head for the wooden bridge: one to capture Alpha (go prone, a sniper from the stone bridge can kill you), and the other to push on with a long range weapon to attempt to eliminate any enemy seizing Charlie.

Likewise, if you start on Charlie side, send at least four to Bravo.

There is no single effective strategy to Overgrown that I've found. Just learn the map and its fire angles, and continually put into play the methodology I outlined in the Tactics section. The team with the better assessment and response time will have the upper hand.

There are numerous positions of note, but one in particular bears mentioning here. The dumpster at the location indicated below can be used to get on top of the wall. From there, you can get on top of the wooden bridge above Alpha, or onto the rooftop of "Grandma's House", both of which can be leveraged into strategically powerful positions.
