The ribbon is the approximation of an underground tunnel system with entrances/exits at the four termination points.

Like Overgrown, Pipeline is riddled with multiple routes between the objectives. Ambush points and kill angles absolutely litter the place. In addition to the underground tunnels, the warehouse interiors sport upper levels, and you can reach the rooftop of warehouse 1 (they're clearly numbered for identification purposes) by climbing the ladder inside it or by jumping from the roof of the same bunker that houses the eastern entrance to the tunnels.

These numerous pathways beg to be exploited to flank enemy positions. Once again, knowledge of the map and tactical comprehension is required to take full advantage of Pipeline's characteristics.

The higher ranked team will spawn in that eastern "peninsula", next to the grassy knoll. Run immediately for Alpha, then fan out to assault Bravo from multiple vectors. You will mostly like have to take it away from the enemy, because they spawn on this side. I favor holding these two, because the clearer line of sight between them makes reinforcing either position a little easier. However, this isn't an overwhelming advantage, and you may have to adapt to the enemy's movements and rotate positions accordingly.

Players with cat-and-mouse guerrilla skills will excel on Pipeline. There are an umpteen number of ways to defend any of the positions.
