Happy New Year Everyone!

Today's comic was inspired by the budget games you can get from Burger King. And by budget, I mean "all three for $10" budget. By no means are these games much good, but if (like me) you are fascinated by the obscurely weird and strange, they're worth the money.

In Sneak King, you take on the role of the Burger King. Avoiding Metal Gear-esque cones of vision, you stalk hungry people, spring BK menu items on them, and finish off with a celebratory dance. The creepier you are (like popping out of a trash can) the more points you score. It's just a surreal cross-section of pop culture that is perversely enjoyable for an hour or so.

Big Bumpin' is actually surprisingly enjoyable. It's an assortment of bumper car mini-games that's as good as the worst Mario Party type titles. And I can't think of any other game where you can face off as Brooke Burke or...a Whopper. The third game is an utterly wretched Mario Kart clone called PocketBike Racer - but it does have a bizzare FMV intro that needs to be seen.

I find myself sorely tempted to acquire a Burger King mask, and surprise my friends with crappy food. WHOPPERTUNITY!
