New comics Monday, Wednesday, and Friday!

I had anticipated getting the new site up a couple days ago, but I've been sandwiched by hosting issues of the preposterous variety. I imagine I'm stretching my credibility to the snapping point, so I'd better elucidate.
So, the original problem was with the web host I'd been using since the inception of The Adventures of Dave the Direman. I wasn't entirely pleased with their service, and I intended to relaunch with a new host. However, they froze my account under the pretext of "upgrading" it. We couldn't redirect the DNS while it was in that limbo state. This is what kept me from launching the site on Tuesday.
So that issue was finally resolved and I'd anticipated having the whole shebang up this morning. The new site was developed at a new web host that had a sterling reputation for 99% uptime at a reasonable price. My web designers had been using them for the past four years with complete reliability. Well, they've completely melted down and have been essentially offline for the past 30+ hours.
The funny thing is that if my original host hadn't given me such difficulties, and I'd launched the new site, you'd be seeing a crashed website Internal Service Error screen right now. I thank God for that silver lining, at least.
I'm fairly distraught at the moment, because I don't have a time frame for clearing this train wreck and getting the new site rolling. As of this writing (6 AM Pacific, Friday morning), the new host is still in a state of fucked-up-ed-ness. Their customer service also seems to be giving their clients the runaround. I'm not sure if I need to acquire a new host, or if this is just a one time FUBAR. If it clears up, the site could relaunch within several hours, but I'm not exactly holding my breath. I'm doubtful that this will be resolved this weekend. I'm hoping Monday, but hell or high water, this site will launch within this coming week or I'll stab myself. Maybe not with anything sharp, but it'll still hurt like a motherfucker based on how frustrated I feel.
I originally had intended this strip to be the first to post on the new site. I was going to comment about the whole Jeff Gerstmann/Gamespot scandal and the 1UP-EGM/Ubisoft situation, and how you could always count on Direman Press to review games with integrity, without ever having to worry about whether we'd sell out or knuckle under to advertisers. Of course, we'd have to actually fucking have game reviews.
My web designers (I love those guys) are currently running on fumes, eschewing such mortal needs like sleep, in an attempt to resolve this circus of disasters ASAP. I apologize to our readers who've been looking forward to the relaunch, and also to my clients who I thank for their continued patience.
