Army of Bling
Army of Two does indeed allow you to encase your weapons in precious metals and gems. Hit this link for a review of the game.
This is starting to turn into a trend. A week ago, I shared a screenshot of my hard earned Call of Duty 4 golden AK-47:
This silliness was probably inspired by an actual AK-47 that once belonged to Saddam Hussein:
Army of Two takes the ostentatiousness to all new levels:
As if a .50 cal sniper rifle wasn't flashy enough, you can now encase it in gold and platinum.
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 hits us in a few days. I enjoyed its predecessor immensely, despite its numerous flaws (it exhibited the kind of glitches you'd expect from a first-generation game). The big draw was four player co-op. I'm sad to report that the upcoming sequel only offers two player co-op. WTF? The host plays the same as single player - commanding three A.I. idiot-bots, and the guest can run around independently.
I'm expecting Rainbow Six Vegas 2 to be highly polished and offer great gameplay, but the lack of four player co-op is immensely disheartening. I'd trade shiny guns for more human players any day.
I've also updated the History of Dave the Direman page, which includes elements of my pen and paper roleplaying game.
