Time for Dee to sleep.
Real quick though, I've been debating what to do with my blog over the past year, now that I'm writing separate game reviews. When the news cycle is slow and nothing elicits a rant from me, I've been slapping up a lot of videos. If a picture is worth a thousand words, surely moving images are at least a couple million. Nevertheless, it feels like a cop out, and I'd like some feedback: what sort of newsposts of mine do you find interesting? Comments about games I'm currently playing? Meandering musings about other entertainment like television and comics? My sixty-three page dissertation explaining the relationship between the military industrial complex and Hello Kitty?
It's also come to my attention that many of you have bookmarked the "latest direman" page, and are unaware of other site updates. Our home page is www.direman.com, and all recent updates are linked from there. On any page, you can also hit the "Direman Press Presents" button in the upper left to get there.

Diplomacy III - Fall 1907 (updated with disbands and builds)
England - Brest was taken but for no effect as build orders were not issued. Vargas has pretty much conceded the game by not turning in orders and has stated as much in the forums.
Germany - With little defensive options, Germany has been reduced to a shell of its former power. No retreat and disband orders also show they have pretty much conceded.
Austria - The imperial armies and fleets continue to spread out and take territory in large chunks. Austria has surpassed critical mass for victory and 18 centers is a mere formality. The only thing forcing the play to be acted out is Russia's insistence.
Russia - Too little, too late. Russia's gains cannot overtake Austrian gains and a stab will not result in any significant exchange of ground. However, Russia will not concede for one reason or another.
