Do You Want To Play MW2?

Yes you do.

And...some concrete details on the upcoming mappack DLC have been released. It'll consist of five maps (two of which were recycled from Call of Duty 4) and cost a hefty $15.

Do you want to pay $15 for this extra bit of content? Yes you do.

As for new game release this week, PlayStation 3 owners get yet more love (I still haven't put a meaningful dent in either Heavy Rain or Final Fantasy XIII) in the form of God of War 3. All three get a strong recommendation from me. (A slightly inferior Xbox 360 version of FF XIII is also available.)

Dragon Age receives an expansion set called "Awakenings". If you haven't started this game yet, I *strongly* recommend the superior PC release. If you're torn between the two console versions, the Xbox 360 has smoother framerates, but the PlayStation 3 looks a touch better. Personally, hiccups bother me more than graphical fidelity, so I give a slight nod to the Xbox 360. Below are links to the main game and the expansion for each platform.

The final release on my radar is Metro 2033 for PC and Xbox 360. It's a post-apocalyptic horror/action RPG-esque shooter thingy developed by some of the same crew that worked on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. What this means to me is that this may be a diamond-in-the-rough sort of game: possibly glitchy and unpolished, but intriguing and rewarding enough to demand playtime.

Now Playing - Modern Warfare 2 (360); level 70, 10th prestige, 2.12 kill/death ratio (dropping due to chasing ridiculous challenges); Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)
Xbox Live/PSN Gamertag - Vawce
