Self-Entitled Moron Asshole
So I was pretty hard on the "Retake Mass Effect 3" peeps. I remember using the word 'odious' to describe their attitude. I'm gonna have to recalibrate my self-righteous judgmental scale downward yet again, as humanity never fails to continuously score beneath whatever baseline I set.
Actually, it started off morally uplifting. Some of these malcontents elected to display their displeasure by giving "protest donations" to Child's Play, the gamer-driven charitable organization. If you're going to gripe about how the world owes you something, giving to children in need is a truly excellent way of going about it. I was so ashamed about sanctimoniously complaining about complainers, that I felt compelled to follow their example and make a small donation myself.
However, some contributors SOMEHOW managed to get confused over this simple idea. They thought that it was some sort of Kickstarter campaign, asking those silly questions as depicted in the comic. I mean, EA and BioWare just sold over A MILLION copies of the game in an eyeblink. I think they have enough money to produce a new ending to sate the QQers. (As it turns out, they do, and they're going to give it away for free.)
Fine, we all make mistakes. Even the brightest among us spew stupidity upon occasion. But there was a subset of this subset of these agitators that upon realizing their error, TOOK BACK THEIR CHARITY. I'm now looking for the right word to describe the rank below 'odious' for the people that demanded their money back once their dim minds grasped that it wasn't being spent on themselves-- "Fuck sick kids, I thought this important!"
