Game developers and publishers are clearly making a push in the direction of microtransactions and DLC revenue streams. It makes sense. It's income that doesn't need to be shared with physical retailers, and also encourages consumers to hang on to their games instead of fueling GameStop's billion-dollar-used-game-pawn-shop system. It's a messy scenario, with confusing bits of flotsam strewn about the digital landscape, but I'm willing to tolerate it if it means developers get paid and gamers keep getting enjoyable products.
However, Capcom's taken it way too far. You can't call a tiny downloadable key measured in kilobytes Content. Charging $20 to use content ALREADY ON THE DISC is borderline extortion. They deserve to be hacked.
