This is some crazy shit that went down. Since Activision and the former Infinity Ward heads have settled their lawsuits (seems like West and Zampella got BANK), we'll never see the precise details.
But it does appear that Activision was plotting to have West and Zampella removed in order to exercise more control over Infinity Ward, and the Call of Duty brand in particular. "Operation Icebreaker" was an attempt to dig up dirt on West and Zampella by monitoring their communications. So it fell on this Fenady fellow (Activision director of IT) to do so, with assurances that "Bobby (Activision CEO) will take care of you..." You don't get much shadier than that; it has overtones of a mob boss instructing one of his soldiers to whack made men on a rival crew.
What cracks me up is how CLUMSY Fenady's "Operation Icebreaker" attempts were. He's the Director of IT and the best he can do is ask third parties like Microsoft to help crack passwords. SERIOUSLY? That was followed up with that asinine "idea" to fake a fumigation in order to sneak in a team to image Infinity Ward hard drives. Wow, just wow. That blows right past "shenanigans" straight into "tomfoolery". For those of you who love conspiracy theories, this is what happens when too many people (and I mean more than, say, two) become involved in a conspiracy. Each additional participant decreases the security, and increases the idiocy of a conspiracy by a full order of magnitude.
One more time..."Operation Icebreaker" ROFL

A Little Self-Conscious
It's been a while since I've blogged about anything. Truth be told, I'm a little self-conscious... okay, I'm VERY self-conscious. I usually don't think I have anything interesting to share, but that's not really up to me, is it? Who am I to decide what you guys would or wouldn't find interesting about me?
I've spent these last few weeks working on the art of the strips, trying to raise the visual quality ever since this strip went five a week. Most recently I've been drawing My Little Pony pics. Not only am I'm a fan of the show, but I love their visual design and I believe that studying the bright, strong colors used on the show would help me pick up some tricks to work around the fact that I'm colorblind. I think the influence shows in some of the recent strips. At least they're a little brighter and colorful.
