Heart of the Swarm
The story in "Heart of the Swarm" is just absurd. It's fraught with characters behaving inconsistently and shark-jumping over-the-top (albeit visually impressive) cut scenes. The gameplay holds up well though, and if you wanted more StarCraft II missions this is for you. Be forewarned, however, this chapter of the game is icky. Everything is bug goo slime orientated all over the place.
I can't really speak on the quality of the multiplayer, as I merely dipped my toe into the pool at the launch of "Wings of Liberty", and never returned. But I trust Blizzard to rigorously maintain game balance and service, and if the game is good enough to serve as the Official National Religion of South Korea, I imagine you'd have a decent time with it.

Please welcome a new member to the Direman family: Alex Phillimore!
He's writing a new column entitled "Software Slump", and two non-traditional game reviews for Final Fantasy: All the Bravest and Kersploosh! are now live. We'll be working together to fill our dreary, humdrum lives with unique game related content across this comic, our columns, and an upcoming podcast.
For that matter, if you have any questions you'd like to ask me, Dave, or Alex for us to answer on the podcast, toss an email to contact-deleteme[at]-deleteme-direman [dot] com.
