rebuttals

I just realized I never made this clear. Being the sole reviewer, I run the risk of failing objectivity. For any of my game reviews, if anyone strongly feels that I made an erroneous judgment, they should feel free to submit a rebuttal...as long as it is clearly reasoned. If it is logically compelling, I will append it to my original review.

Any request for me to append any such counter-argument is an acceptance to grant me permission to do so. This applies to any column I write.

Here's the thing Dee: So far you're pretty much on the money. I read them as reviews of their general merits and apply my own slightly warped views after the fact. You do ask people for opinions before they go up to further shape your own judgment, so that helps as well.

As long as the D&D arcade games don't get anything lower than an A we're pretty much cool. *peers*

Hah, ToD will be an A, and only because SoM needs to have a higher score :D

Melee Wizard who stabs things! Oh yeah, he can stab too..

For the first one (and sometimes in the sequal) I also go with the Cleric: "STICKS TO SNAKES!!!"

I like our (Arturo/Cleric and Dave/Fighter) tactics.

Protecting Arturo from attacks as he tries to cast Turn Undead while we're surrounded by undead minions is always fun and exciting.

I almost always play the cleric - if you can get enough cash together, he turns into a crazy powerhouse once you get the morningstar in the sequel.
