I am indeed to be married - 34 days hence.

Funny coincidence that I am now taking a break from assembling the trebuchet for the wedding (wood glue has to set) and responding to someone known as trebuchet - what were the chances? :?:

Would it be to much to inquire why you will have a trebuchet at your wedding? Who are you planing to lay siege to?

Likely suspects:
-The Brides Virtue
-The Father's Bank Account
-The Guest's Alcohol Tolerence
-The Bridesmades
-Convention

Do I have to just lay seige to one of those options?

The wedding is decidedly non-traditional and will feature a trebuchet, various lawn games, and scenes from The Painted Veil. We just thought it would be more fun that way. :)

I've always loved this story. I remember the first time I read it. In fact, it was one of the first things Dee gave me. (I keep it with his love letters to me. [Gush. Gush.]) It's written with such vivid decription. It draws you in and you anticpate for more. I've always wanted this short story to be made into a novel.
