My Idea Backed Up By PETA. Go Figure.

What should I be digressing about?

Carrots are roots, corn is a grain, and olives and pickles (cucumbers) are in fact fruits.

I'm an omnivore. Leafy greens are terrifically wonderful for you. In fact, I'm currently eating a delicious steak/spinach salad my terrifically wonderful wife made for me.

Exactly... you enjoy the best of both worlds.

Then again... technically you are getting all the good stuff from the grass without eating it... I mean if the cow ate it... then would they not retain the good stuff in their glorious meat? I guess meat is the best of both worlds.

In that case, what exactly is a 'vegetable'?

Carrots and corn always seem to fall under the category of 'vegetable' - so what does it really mean?

I suppose I'm technically an omnivore, but I am unfortunately cursed with being a very Picky Eater. The list of foods I enjoy is sadly quite small when compared to the things I don't. (Not that I've ever actually made a list, it just sort of comes up on a case-by-case basis.)

Yahr, carrots are technically tubers and corn is definitely a grain. I know this because a buddy of mine went on a diet that involved strict vegetable consumption. "Tuber?!" I said, "You're making this shit up!"

Strictly speaking, leafy greens, like lettuce, spinach, etc. are vegetables. In my new universe, those are now called "rilanes". If he can make up words, so can I.

This was a triumph.
I'm making some meat here
in a vat.
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.
Food-making science.
We do what we must, because we can
For the good of all of us,
at least the ones who eat meat.
But there's no use crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying til you make a good steak.
And the science gets done
and you put it on buns
and the cows out there are still alive.

Go ahead and eat me...
I want to be put in your insides.
Maybe you'll find out I'm really tasty.
Better than real cow.
It's not a joke. Ha ha. Meat vat.
Anyway, this steak is great.
It's so delicious and moist.
Look at me still talking when there's cloning to do.
And when I am done it will then go into you.
Just make sure it's not burned
Lightly seasoned, browned and turned
for the people who like to eat meat.

Delayed reaction: OH MY GOD! Props Madcat. I laughed so hard.
