Punisher: War Zone

Lionsgate now wants it gimped down to PG-13 after the runaway power of Batman. Director Lexi Alexander wants nothing to do with the project.

The trailer for P:WZ ticked me off and the 360 degree uzi burst cliche made me hate the movie already. But it had a little promise being rated R and based of Ellis' work. Now the director has removed all references to the movie from her website. As I wasn't interested in the first place this just seals it.

I saw this. It was not a good movie, as such. There was cheese but it was mostly a byproduct of the acting/dialog not actually being that good. The one positive thing I can say about this movie is that the action was solid because you can tell there was a lot of range/trainning time put in during the filming. The guy who played the Punisher had his shooting and reloading down pat.
