I give up on the Treachery Index. It's lame. Joel wins.

Congratulations, Kang! Hail the victor of Europe!

Good game folks, I enjoyed it. Keep me posted for future games. :D

Although Vargas will rightly get a lot of ribbing for his surprising yet inevitable betrayals, he did manage to maintain a growing empire until 1907, so he's doing something right in the game.

I look forward to playing again.

Growing at the cost of burning all his political capital and ignoring the juggernaut double-pronged menace to the west :D

I'll start a signup for Diplomacy III soon. Kang will be adjudicating the next game, so you'll be able to play, Steve.

I'm with you there. Not saying he's got every nuance of the game down, just that judging when your neighbors are likely to believe you and need an alliance is a useful skill, and he does well at that.

Having an idea of the overall strategic situation of the continent, not so well at.

If he would only trust *me*! ;)
