I thought you had game, son. Extolling the virtues of stupidity as manhood is both ignorant and cowardly. You might as well have gone all the way and claimed, "Booklearnin' is for fairies!" I'm gonna rub my quad all over your scaredy-cat face.

(In all seriousness, I gotta break character here. "Ironman" is amusing, but I sincerely hope that if pressed hard enough by injuries or byes, you'll take the necessary measures to field as competitive a team as you're able. This goes for everyone. Even if you're eliminated from playoff contention, you must endeavor to compete. There's nothing like the deliberate sabotage of competitive integrity to ruin the fun, by undermining the legitimacy of our winners and trophies.

I just wanted to head this possibility off at the pass. I don't mean to come off as a hardass, but being commissioner can be a pain, and I wanted to make this absolutely clear: any obvious tanking to improve next year's draft position, or for any other reason, will result in not being invited back to our league. If so many participants engage in collusion to render this unfeasible, I'll penalize just the offenders by stripping away picks and/or instituting a lottery.

Message repeated in League Procedures.)

This sounds like the warcry of the unmanly. I have no qualms with my conviction frightening you, and continue to hope that wielding two benches brings you happy shiny feelings.

Well, I do have to admit you stick to your gameplan.

Ignorance and cowardice are subjective terms at least. From up here making frantic trades (and pulling certain people's strings on a week-by-week basis) comes off as cowardice being fueled by the ignorance of others. :D

And here I thought you were a fan of The League. You should be lauding me, if that's how you see my activities.

(Frantic trades? Each was carefully measured.)

Once again you miss the point entirely, Dave. That's okay, 'cause I'm moving on.

@Dave: Hey, Football is Magic! I've already expressed in a copious amount of words how I feel about your fey team so I'll keep this short.

When I crush you this week, you will rue the day that you ever dared to capture our person in the over-feminine trappings of your pony "brothers." You will gnash your teeth and shake your fist at the heavens and scream, "WHY?!?!? Why did I ever set stylus to drawing pad and give birth to that accursed image?!?" It will be the bane of your pitiful existence from this Sunday forth for it will be the cause of your madness. You will try to blot it out of your mind's eye but it will be forever seared there, and the futility of your efforts will make you thrash about in your fevered sleep and haunt your very steps in the light of day. Mad, you will curse the sun and shadow for the one cannot cleanse you and the other cannot hide you. And as you wander the desert wastes, lost upon the sandy seas, you will wonder: how did my own creation bring me hence? And I will be there and I will laugh the laughter of wild ponies.

NICE Paul. Conditional smack win to you, pending the outcome of the head to head matchup.

And WHEN I win, I will give you hugs! Also, what you typed isn't really short. Just saying.
