Frail Mortal Husk (so tired)

Oh Sure...

...he looks innocent enough, just sitting there with his head resting on his hard earned drawing board, stylus still clung to with the determination of a raccoon who's seized something shiny...

But what's this? Lying just behind him on the desk? Is it? Why yes, yes it is! A Xbox 360 wireless control. The oh so sexy gateway interface tool to the Xbox 360 game console, a known nefarious time spender....

Of course this has to be completely unrelated to his current state. Obviously.

All ready...

I've decided that I'm going to go through a bunch of files that Dave and I put together, and put write in commas between the last/first name. That should keep me mildly occupied for a bit.... my ADD is worse than I thought...

Anyways... I have an important issue. I need a response to this from all who can, preferrably on the forums.

Next week prompts a dilema for me.... I either
1) Play Bioshock on my new sexy 32' LCD flat/wide T.V. (that btw... the wii looks fucking ugly on... component or AV cables.. just blah, damn xbox amazing 720p graphics). Anyways... yeah... Bioshock on uber HD T.V.

2) Hang out with Danny... who will be around for 10 days.... however... Danny does NOT come in High Def...

Damn choices making life harder than it should be.

BTW... This is directed at Danny. You can't say you can't write like I talk... cuz, dude, you got that shiet.

Oh... last thing.

Dave is weaksauce.

We're all avant guard and stuff...

I'm now of the opinion that we should do all of the strips in that sketchy blue line style. It's all edgy and intense.

Dan Dan: (dan-deleteme[at]-deleteme-squishycomics [dot] com) 2007-08-17 10:53:11

To Mike,

That's a tough choice, son. I mean, not only do I not come in Hi-Def, but I'm also ike 8-bit graphics as well. Like all Atari pixely and shit.

Mike Mike: (mike-deleteme[at]-deleteme-squishycomics [dot] com) 2007-08-17 11:03:14

Just say you're pixeley like the Wii...

God that dissapointed me. "zomg zelda in enhanced def." Uhhh, this shit looks like my 20 inch shitty ass old fuckin' TV, but uglier... cuz now I see the flaws on a bigger screen. /sigh

Anyways.. 8 bit rocks. If you wanna down yourself.... say you're "sixty-four" bit.... and carry around a controller with every fucking greco-roman symbol on the piece of shit.

<3 You're doing okay in the polls so far... so as long as the democratic process works.........

Yeah... you might be 15 ways from fucked regardless.

Pfft! This aint no "democracy".

And yes, 8-bit kicked ass. That was when we learned "Hey, Video Games are capable of being GOOD".

I though you were gonna follow up with, "This is a cheer-ocracy"

The blue definitely sets a mood of... LAZINESS!!

Dan may not be Hi Def but he'll definitely be 3-D!

Dave Dave: (dave-deleteme[at]-deleteme-squishycomics [dot] com) 2007-08-17 20:18:25

Not Lazy!

That's just the color I use for sketching on my tablet. It's easy to see while inking yet does not distract in the slightest.

That control may be next to me, but that's only because it keeps Dave sane.
"All draw and no game make Dave something something..."

That can o' Coke... my life blood when I HAVE to get some work done.

And the screen... well, I wasn't thinking of being all clever and drawing a preview of next strip. Instead I thought I should sketch out the two forces at work for my favorite two online strips (wink wink). Direman and Squishy are teh awesome!

Seriously though, I really am frayed. Monday's strip will look pretty like per usual, and today's Adventures of Dave the Direman looks great (that sillouette behind the curtain is something I'm rather happy about).
